2012 Major League Soccer Central Coast Showcase Set for Feb. 10

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The Cal Poly Athletics Department will host a Major League Soccer exhibition match for the second-successive year following Thursday's announcement that the San Jose Earthquakes and Colorado Rapids will meet inside Alex G. Peterlin Stays in England; Agrees to One-Year Deal with Walsall

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Former Cal Poly men's soccer midfielder Anton Peterlin, the first Big West Conference player to appear in an English Football League match, resumed his professional career earlier this week after agreeing to a one-year contract with Walsall Football Club. Peterlin had previously served a three-week trial with Walsall, which competes in League One, the third tier of English soccer. Read more.

Mustang Soccer Program Passes it on with Coaching Series

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Sixth-year Cal Poly men’s soccer head coach Paul Holocher recently announced the return of the program’s Summer Youth Coaching Series, a set of eight free educational seminars aimed at the possession game and ball retention.
