Mustang Men’s Soccer Signs Eight Players to National Letters of Intent

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The Cal Poly men's soccer team strengthened all areas of its roster on Friday following the joint announcement by sixth-year head coach Paul Holocher and the Mustang Athletics Department that the program has inked eight players to National Letters of Intent with the expectation of joining the squad for the 2012 campaign.

"We're very proud of our seven graduating seniors who represented Cal Poly faithfully during their college careers and were terrific leaders and mentors," Holocher said. "They will all be sorely missed and we knew we had to have a class that we could build the future around. We're extremely excited about our 2012 incoming freshman class because we feel that they are not only excellent soccer players, but excellent young men. Read more.

Women’s Soccer Inks Seven Players to NLI’s

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- A total of seven high school women soccer players have signed national letters of intent to attend Cal Poly and compete in the sport of women's soccer at Cal Poly. The announcement was made Friday by Cal Poly head coach Alex Crozier and director of athletics Don Oberhelman.

"I am very excited about this incoming class," said Crozier, entering his 21st season as head coach. "We are strengthening our program in the goal as well as up top, in the midfield and in the back. All seven of these athletes will be great representatives of Cal Poly athletics both on and off the field." Read more.
